A 3D workplace typically consists of the following components: several laser template projectors, industrial PC running PRO-SOFT 3D projection software, steel construction or scaffolds, production tool and CAD data.
Most of the times, laser projectors are fixed perpendicular above the tool surface. They may be mounted on the ceiling or a customized steel construction.
If one projector is not enough, because the surface causes shaded areas, the area is too big or the projection too complicated, several projectors may share the load. The template data can be one file - PRO-SOFT 3D software will distribute the
projection outlines to the correct projection head.
Special care has to be given to the precision of the tool and the target positions. As a laser beam may not stop in mid-air, the quality of the tool directly interferes with the precision of the projection.
