The LAP Ethernet UDP Gateway works as a part of a LAP SynchroNet network. The Gateway receives measurement data of the other devices on the RS485 bus and sends them in packages to the host PC by Ethernet, using
UDP protocol. The size of the packages is limited to 195 Bytes, which is enough for several request cycles. The gateway works either as bus master or slave on the LAP SynchroNet network.
