Laser and sensors are virtually maintenance-free. For applications read the manual carefully.
The best way to extend the lifetime of lasers is paying attention to the operating temperature.
The housing of LAP lasers and sensors can lead away the operating warmth, but if the surrounding temperature is higher than recommended in the manual, sufficient cooling can not be guaranteed.
To maintain the brightness of lasers and the accuracy of sensors it is necessary to keep the glass clean.
Please remove dirt particles with a soft brush. This way you won't scratch the glass.
Don't use compressed air!
Further cleaning may be done with a soft cloth, lukewarm water and a household washing-up liquid / dish soap. (Don't use tabs for dishwashers!) More aggressive cleansing agents may damage the sealing materials.
Please keep in mind the protection class of your laser or sensor! In general, you should wring out your cleansing cloths before use. |
