ALIGNMENT AND POSITIONING USING 2D LASER PROJECTORS.

LAP 2D laser projectors display true to scale outlines, templates, shapes or patterns generated by CAD data.

On flat surfaces they project one or several objects that have to be placed, aligned or nested. The projected outlines help to reduce crop, to improve quality or simply to choose a part of a natural material with a better fitting design (wood, stone, ...).

The system has to be calibrated once, after installation. Further calibration runs just have to be started, e.g. with the start of a shift, and work automatically. Calibration is done with reflecting targets.

To compensate parallax and scaling errors from different material heights, the height value can be given to the projection software, either manually or with the projection data.
