The LAP Profibus DP Gateway is used to process data from LAP DSP sensors in a LAP SynchroNet network. It transfers up to 6 measurement values per request. The SynchroNet network address is fixed by two hex-switches.
The LAP Profibus DP Gateway works as slave at Profibus DP. It supports DP extensions V1 concerning parametrizing, configuration and diagnosis. Acyclic or crossing data traffic as well as alerts are not supported.
The module is addressed as compact module with fixed bandwidth of 16 bytes in / 8 bytes out in the GSD directory. Only these configuration telegramms are accepted.
