LAP terminates cooperation with C-RAD
|
As from the 16th of November 2009 LAP has cancelled the relationship to the Swedish manufacturer of medical devices for radiotherapy C-RAD.
Due to malfunctions in many cases and break of supply contracts LAP stopped the sales of C-RAD surface scanning systems for patient alignment, which were distributed under the LAP label GALAXY.

LAP considerably increased the accuracy of CALIX sensors for thickness measurement of band. Their accuracy reaches and in many cases exceeds the radiometric systems common in rolling mills.
The dimensions of CALIX systems makes them easy to build into existing production lines with little to no effort. By using CALIX sensors, measures for radiation protection are obsolete.
During manual placement of formwork and parts on circulating pallets in concrete precast production, laser template projectors simplify many working procedures. They produce
"visual templates" on the working surface and support exact alignment of parts. This way they secure the dimensional correctness of the final elements.
