As from the 16th of November 2009 LAP has cancelled the relationship to the Swedish manufacturer of medical devices for radiotherapy C-RAD.
Due to malfunctions in many cases and break of supply contracts LAP stopped the sales of C-RAD surface scanning systems for patient alignment, which were distributed under the LAP label GALAXY.
C-RAD systems failed to meet the high quality expectations of LAP for development and distribution of medical systems. In the last three years LAP invested a lot in research and development of the existing technology. Unfortunately, these improvements haven’t been realized at all, or partially at best. Because of this the estimated turnover could not be achieved.
LAP is worldwide market leader for patient alignment systems in radiotherapy.
