| SYSTEM DESIGN. |
The DORADOnova system is based on wireless technology, allowing for control from the patient's side. One way is using the tablet PC with touchscreen.
You have direct access to patient data, and direct control of the lasers. The docking station may be put up on a table or permanently fixed to a wall.
Alternatively, DORADOnova systems may be handled by PC and the portable NAVIGATOR. You also have access to patient data, and control is possible from within the
simulation room.
| COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY. |
Communication between tablet PC and lasers takes place via Bluetooth. This ergonomic, reliable technology offers free movement all around the patient.
Meanwhile, connection to hospital LAN is established by WiFi, to transfer isocentre coordinates from VSIM software.
If the NAVIGATOR is used, communication with the lasers uses Bluetooth. The lasers are connected to a PC by cable, offering bidirectional data transfer.
| ADJUSTMENT BY REMOTE CONTROL. |
Even precision adjustment of all 6 laser axes takes place by remote control. You don't need tools, you don't need to open and remove the covers of the
laser rails - which is a real advantage for the ceiling rail.
