Modern radiation therapy places high demands on patient alignment:

  • precise patient positioning, to prevent healthy tissue from being unnecessarily exposed to radiation
  • reproducable patient positioning, to reach maximum impact by focussed therapy
  • fast patient positioning, to not waste time during alignment.

LAP offers several solutions for patient-setup:

APOLLO (red, green or blue) - the established high standard with 6 axes remote controlled laser adjustment

ASTOR (green or red) - the high precision system with manual laser adjustment for the price conscious

One fixed laser line from the ceiling

Transversal, coronal:
Two fixed crosshair lasers from the sides

Optional: Additional crosshair laser from the ceiling to avoid potential shadowing of sagittal and transverse line
