High precision room lasers for a magnetic environment

Features

Precise

At a distance of 1 to 4 meters, the maximum laser line width is 1 mm. Each line has been measured along its entire length and has a line straightness of ± 0.1 mm. In this way, you can always rely on the precision of your lasers.

Optimally visible

The different red, green, and blue diode colors and the optical components are designed and manufactured with highest accuracy. Plane parallel glass with anti-reflective coating prevents any interference with the laser beam. The brightness distribution remains constant at all times. Benefit from optimal visibility for precise patient positioning.

Comfortably adjustable

With the remote control all lasers can be easily selected and finely adjusted in all degrees of freedom (parallel shift, tilt, rotation and focus). 

Fits your room

With the optional accessories, the lasers can be optimally adapted to your individual treatment room. Whether you need to bridge a false ceiling, have the lasers free standing, or have the laser project from a different angle (by default, the ASTOR can be tilted up to 45°), you can install your lasers safely, practically, and aesthetically.

MR-conditional

Certified by an independent testing facility APOLLO MR3T  fulfills MRI conditional requirements up to 3 Tesla and can be used without impact on the imaging. APOLLO MR3T is validated with all leading MRI manufacturers. Hence, it is perfectly suitable for your magnetic environment.

Fits your workflow

The APOLLO MR3T fits your workflow: The virtual isocenter can be projected from the laser system on both your (diagnostic) MRI and MR-LINAC. The laser system can be used to position patients either at a reference or target point or to check yaw rotation relative to the table. This ensures accurate and reproducible patient positioning on all treatment devices.

The APOLLO MR3T system has three (optionally four) lasers to project the coronal, sagittal and transversal body planes. You can choose the laser color, line and/or cross laser, and mounting option, all adapted to your individual room situation.

APOLLO MR3T bridge

 APOLLO laser bridge consists of three fixed cross hair laser modules for projecting red, green or blue crosses to mark the patient in all three body planes.

Q&A

How long is the laser line?

The length of the laser line is equal to the distance between laser source and patient. Therefore, for example, the laser line is only one meter long at a distance of one meter, but 4 meters long at a distance of 4 meters. 

How long is the lifetime of a laser system?

Since the lifetime of a laser system is essentially defined by the lifetime of the laser diode, the specifications of the laser diode manufacturer are taken into account. This results in a lifetime of approx. 10 years.
