Start of RadCalc 3Dcc Version 7.0.1.0 Beta Tests

Beta testing begins of RadCalc 3Dcc version 7.0.1.0 utilizing an FDA 510(k) cleared Collapsed Cone convolution superposition algorithm

03.09.2019

RadCalc version 7.0 utilizing an FDA 510(k) cleared Collapsed Cone Convolution Superposition Algorithm has been released for beta testing. This release of RadCalc 3Dcc is the first of three 3D Dose Volume second check QA packages. The completion of the Beta Test is anticipated in four weeks. An announcement of the final release date will be provided when available for purchase.

RadCalc 3Dcc utilizes an independent FDA 510(k) cleared collapsed cone convolution superposition algorithm that provides fast, easy, and accurate 3D Dose Volume verification for most commonly used treatment planning systems. RadCalc 3Dcc is compatible with Varian, Elekta, and Siemens machines.

RadCalc 3Dcc calculations verify dose throughout the treatment volume thus increasing patient safety and plan quality by enhancing the ability to verify more accurately complicated treatment plans. RadCalc 3Dcc utilizes a patient’s planning CT for calculations providing verification for 3D, IMRT, VMAT, and SRS/SBRT plans.

RadCalc 3Dcc includes RadCalc AIR (Automated Import & Report) providing a fully automated process with Percent difference, DVH, Gamma, Distance to Agreement, and Image analysis tools. RadCalc 3Dcc’s fully automated process immediately alerts users to plans that fail to pass pre-set criteria.

For example, RadCalc 3Dcc automatically checks whether DVH objectives are met for critical structures using both the TPS and RadCalc 3Dcc dose. Any number of DVH protocols can be loaded and be compared to one another from one analysis screen within RadCalc 3Dcc. Analysis reports are automatically attached to a verified plan and sent to a workstation via email or to a directory of choice on a server.

Demonstrations will be available at the LAP ASTRO booth 1027 in Chicago.
