CAD-PRO laser projection systems from LAP enable the company Cotesa to avoid errors during composite manufacturing processes and thus to significantly reduce reject rates. The precision of these laser systems also helps Cotesa meet the high quality standards expected by the aviation industry.
Cotesa is a manufacturer of composite fiber components, especially for the aviation industry, and has around 400 employees and 3 sites across Germany and China. At the site in Mochau near Dresden, where fuselage components are manufactured for the Airbus supply chain, all workstations in the laminates area are equipped with LAP's CAD-PRO laser projection systems. Since rolling out the laser system in the laminates area, Cotesa has enjoyed many of the advantages of laser technology. Errors are prevented and reject rates significantly reduced.
