Reject rates measurably reduced
Cotesa is a manufacturer of composite fiber components, especially for the aviation industry, and has around 400 employees and 3 sites across Germany and China. At the site in Mochau near Dresden, where fuselage components are manufactured for the Airbus supply chain, all workstations in the laminates area are equipped with LAP's CAD-PRO laser projection systems. Since rolling out the laser system in the laminates area, Cotesa has enjoyed many of the advantages of laser technology. Errors are prevented and reject rates significantly reduced. And this pays off in monetary terms.

The laser projection system is linked with Cotesa’s ERP system, which means the laying times for the different layers can be tracked. This offers still more potential for optimization.
